iFrawin comes from Tamazight, the language of the Amazigh people in North Africa, and means “the leaves of a tree.”

The tree representing this project is the olive tree, a symbol of resilience, longevity and life. Each leaf represents an association, an ambassador, or a member of the community. These leaves capture the light and allow the tree to grow fruit, symbolizing concrete actions and the support provided to those who need it most.

iFrawin embodies the idea that we are all connected, and that every action, big or small, contributes to building a global network of solidarity. Every day, thousands of associations and humanitarian initiatives work in the shadows, often invisible and lacking support. On the other side, millions of people want to help but don’t know where to begin.

iFrawin is the bridge between these two worlds — an intuitive platform that centralises associations and volunteer opportunities, maps them, and makes them accessible to everyone. Our ambition is clear: to become the leading global platform to discover, support and promote associations, whether local or international. With iFrawin, every leaf feeds the olive tree of solidarity and helps grow fruit for the world.

My name is Elias, I am 23 years old. Originally from a small village in south-eastern Morocco and raised in the suburbs of France, I quickly understood that solidarity is a pillar of our society.

Now a Master’s student, I want to use technology in the service of people. My goal? Transform my skills into meaningful action and build a bridge between those who want to help and those who need support.

Every project, every initiative, every small gesture matters. My mission with iFrawin is simple: make solidarity simple and accessible for everyone.

Officially founded in October 2025, iFrawin is, in reality, the result of all the values of generosity, mutual aid and sharing that were passed on to me since childhood. These values have guided every decision and every step of this project.

iFrawin is not just my project, it is our project.
